The Superpave Asphalt Technology Program is currently engaged in several important projects that extend its leadership position in Superpave research and implementation. Significant projects include research on Toner Modified Asphalt, the Effect of Crushed Aggregate Percent on Performance of HMA Mixtures, the Correlation of Field Performance to Hamburg Wheel-Tracking Results, and a Comparison of Hot Poured Crack Sealant to Emulsified Asphalt Crack Sealant.
In keeping with its mission, the program maintains state-of-the-art transportation materials teaching and research facilities.
